2.9.2010 (365/40)

I wanted a wintery scene from this storm - it took 'till now (3:30 AM) to find what I wanted. This is looking out from my driveway across the street at a slight angle (wanted the streetlight backlighting the tree) looking due North, ~6+" so far

MJP - 1/27/2010 - A member of the Ice Hole Gang goes into the water - what an Assicle! (thanks Ed and Mary - this arrived Friday and I got home from a snowy sleepover yesterday after already posting a picture. Purists - I did not take the picture [obviously], but I sure did scan it!)

2.6.2010 (365/37)

Snow still coming down, motor-heads in the street with quads doing circles and dodging the plows. Some of us eagerly awaiting being released into the elements for fun in the sun (OK, snow). Are we really this pathetic?

2.5.2010 (365/36)

As I was assisting CK with the second of two after school IWB professional developments we had signed up to do, I took a good look at the only interesting thing on the walls of the classroom we had been assigned to use: this nice tapestry adorned one portion of one wall in an otherwise totally boring classroom, in a school that is supposed to be about our future.

2.4.2010 (365/34)

A view. Have you ever gotten down on the floor to to see what you baby or pet sees? I was looking out the window at a school (any school - we have these window guards on all our windows in all our older school buildings) and thought about the view vertically challenged kids might see. Unappetizing!

2.3.2010 (365/34)

BMTD (bore me to death). Had to take this one for me - when I was bored in elementary school (not so much in Jr. HS or HS) I would count the holes in the ceiling tiles or count the number of tiles, in addition to the normal kinds of daydreams that overtakes the mindat that age.

2.2.2010 (365/33)

A sample of some student work - a reminder that there was a time that powerful and productive tools were not powered by electricity.

2.1.2010 (365/32)

On my way to Winter Alumni Event, I stop at the Outlets in Lake George. The Coleman store had a great sale this year and now Dawkins and Simba each have a duck (how long will they last, you ask? Chew on your own and find out!)
