While doing more preparation for PETE&C we thought it might be a good idea to feed Kim's kids and break for nourishment: Ah, Breakfast Pizza!

About 15 years ago 'The Boys' gave me this chair as they ended 8th Grade @ Baldi MS. I had them sign it (look closely and you can see all 4 signatures). It has discharged it's duties faithfully, but is now dead. Hail to The Boys...
Began to make a collage from all the stuff on and around my desk...more as it grows!
Began my day assisting an 8th grade class with a review and creation of their Glogs for a project on explorers.
Some say I have too much stuff that I do not need - what do you think? (No, this isn't the only storage area in my office, I have to admit.)
Thinking of a good picture for today and I saw this collection of Name Badges from DEN, PETE&C, etc.
The Ice Hole 2011 (ladder not yet deployed - the 'assicles' are still in the sauna...)
The throne seen here came from the ice cut out of the lake for the night's ice hole gang (know among the alumni as the 'assicles'). As the first piece came out of the lake Ray (pictured on the left) said it was a shame to just toss the ice aside...and you see the result. Janet and Ray (pictured)and Roger and Bruce did most of the work while I took pictures with Ray's camera. Later, I did NOT go into the ice hole for the first time in many years (was not feeling well). Conditions were perfect, btw.
I found this to be a bit of an oxymoron, seeing ice hanging from the sauna. I will be one of the assicles later tonight running out of there and jumping into the lake before doing it all over again.
Got to spend some time inside the caretaker's cabin tonight with a few others and this was in his kitchen: from the original telegraph office @ Camp Pine Knot: a 1905 model...
Went out this morning in -22 degree weather to get some pictures - here's one of them: looking South over the Caretaker's Cabin ~9:45 AM (no, I was not alone - Ray and I braved the cold together).
Data Witch and I took Mitchie out for his retirement and I took his picture (or so I thought). Am I now the ghost whisperer or is he really there?

Neighbors came home from 10 days at Disney World with granddaughters (and their parents) and brought me this souvinir...so I wore it the next day! Notice that the sign has been altered (and not by me!)
I used to work there. Spent 8 years @ McClure teaching Helath Education - one year, when there was no place for the principal to put two of us, he and a friend built this wall on a Sunday afternoon. It's the landing between the third floor and the roof access.
DW surprised me with this purchase that arrived in today's mail (sleepy pants, as DD calls them) - it's perfect. I was once given a purple t-shirt with green writing: GRINCH
Just sitting around with my small camera in hand, looking for a good shot of Kim's kids and I realized what I was wearing was a great one!
After stopping at the Christiana Mall on the way to Middletown, I bought this stick-on device for holding i-devices at an angle. Someone stuck it on my head (obviously)
Late in the day I went to where I thought the deer would be and was rewarded with a great look at 5 of them. As usual, I was able to get within about 15 yards for some great shots.
Kim, (& Tracey and Traci) and I participated in the Urban Dare event in Philly(10/23/2010). At one of the stops we had to make a simple baloon character: this one was the bonus figure!
Kim thought it was a good idea to label my temporary workspace...perpendicular to my right shoulder is the green screen pictured a week ago.
Dawk seems to like to be outdoors, no matter what the weather brings...and he never admits to being tired (play, play, play)
So glad I do not have to do this tortuous exercise (it's called GRADING)
Almost as lucky today with Mother Nature's creatures as I was with the woodpecker: there is a cardinal in this pic that was playing hide-and-seek with me...must have known I only had my iPhone with me

Kim E was visiting Kim A and her family and we all had brunch together. Kim E told me she had something in the car for me: It was this Gumby pin. A gift for the sake of a gift. Great to have friends! (see car was pic...)
Two on-time participants (7 eventually) for this 2.5 hour training (I played the role of the gopher...)
Went to the car wash and got my Inner Gumby on...(ultra significant as a friend gave me a Gumby pin yesterday). No, I did not make this up - you cannot plan something this significant.
I told Dawkins 'Up', to get him to jump over the large log on the path. He jumped up, sat down and looked around. I did not intend this day's pic to be about Dawk, but the first pic of the day was just perfect.
Barely onto the path (was still next to the playground, actually) I heard and saw this woodpecker and got off a few shots before it flew away. I asked it to come back so I could get a good shot and IT DID - and posed right in front of me and Dawkins, who did not chase it.
